This collecting hobby really does make me laugh sometimes, I have been after a rare mid 70's frame for over 5 years now and to be honest I decided today after all this time there is no way I am ever going to acquire one.
Tonight I get an email off of a contact in the USA offering me exactly the frame I have been wanting for all these years.
So just as goes to show if you are in this sport/hobby long enough and you have enough patience you will get that item that you think doesn't exist.

Nice one. :daumenhoch:

Crackin stuff Sean, had a similar experience last October. :coolsmiley:

That G-Boy is fooking lovely mate, I have always loved those G-Boy forks too.

holy crap Danny, nice Webco mate. Drooling over those square Webco forks, talk about rare.
-
Yeah me to: I am cutting back on parts and bikes: But when i see this listed for weeks and nobody responds to the add, I could not resist tp pick up this piece of history.
I asked the men how many people reacted and he said Zero. well that says enough of the most collectors n holland i think :LolLolLolLol:
pretty stoked with it, all the og stuff is on it exept the wheels.
All stuff is rusted together after 30+ years so took me a while to seperate thing from each other. :tickedoff:
all parts are seperated at the moment, now the seat post is going to be milled out, after that it goes to the mediablaster and then of to spray painter to get it a propper colour and not a thick powdercoat :yahoo_silent:
will make a topic about this one this week
thanks

I'm not even going to start looking for a Fox4Styler. ::)
I've only ever seen one other.
-
What happens if you're waiting on 4/5 parts for a build...
X 5 years each one...
25 years...
-
If the parts were made they're about, it's just finding the person who has them to part with them, just keep on putting wanted's in and they will surface, circumstances change in people lives on a daily basis and even hoarders can only keep hold of stuff for so long before they keep tripping over it :LolLolLolLol:
-
Just found these, as rare as rocking horse poo poo's, it's only taken 2 1/2 years, these are standard equipment on a 78-81 team mongoose.
One of the most heaviest duty rat traps pedals ever made, the MKS BM-1's

same peds as that are on the webco "wantit"
-
They are bm-5's on the webco, they are pinned over at the ends were as the BM-1's are one piece (wrapped around at the end) heavier duty :coolsmiley:
