Title: Chrome rims

Has anyone ever had any rims re-chromed?
Or had any rims de chromed but then mirror polished?

Would give a great finish, and protection.
I've just had a tuf neck power disc polished and clear anodised.
Looks amazing, and is something I wouldn't of thought of doing until she suggested it. :daumenhoch:

I would love to find a new pair of Alex Rims like are on it but it is never going to happen! Any tips on a similar rim? Here is a photo of the bike.

Wow! Cheers for that, 2 seconds in the eBay shop and I have found the perfect rims!

Post by: monteryroom on October 11, 2014, 04:32 AM: I had a black anodized primo hula hoop rim, stripped the anno with liquid drain cleaner. took awhile, turning the rim around with liquid in the bottom of tub. then polished with mothers mag and alloy polish. came up great.
