Am ready to lace a set of araya 7x to large flange hubs and i was just wondering can i use 184mm & 186mm on them?i know 184mm is ok to use but juust thought i would ask you guys as you know more about that sort of thing than what i do :daumenhoch:

On me mobi at the mo, so can't post a link, but before Sean pops along look for Stidds spoke length calc in the resto stickies above.
If you've properly worked out that 184 will work (as in used the calculator) then 2mm more should still be ok.

Cheers Danny i had already used it the other day :daumenhoch: its just ive loads of these spoke lengths lying about me and just want to get them used up,thanks mate :daumenhoch:

if your planning on using both sizes on one wheel then try to keep all of the 184 to one side of the wheel and 186 to the other, lacing it randomly with different sizes makes it a pain in the arse to true it up.

Rite guys it seems the 184mm is to short my mistake lol so have it laced 186mm 4x long nipples it seems that spokes are to long and the 4x spokes are to short,anyone laced araya 48h 7x,why does it work out 186mm on the calculator yet there too long and too small?
