That's a Helix re-issue stem. Wrong hardware and the wedge is wrong for an old version too.

It's not a Helix,  (I've had all these and an original), you can tell by the 3 flats at the rear are too accurate and the stem bolt has a raised triangle on the top of it.
 I don't know the maker of these particular versions but they are made in the USA.

The helix version is the best quality if you can find one !!!  I would personally have a helix over an original when having the choice of both in my hand

As far as I know helix only made 2 version top caps , plain top cap and their later version stamped with helix bmx
Helix stamped there stems underneath next to the quill on the plain version.

I got stung by a blue version of the gold one listed but fair play to the guy he did put a disclaimer on it and I NEVER saw it ::)  I sold it recently but described it as a COPY for  £100 posted,  I took a £45 loss and won't fall for it again so be careful peeps  :daumenhoch:
