Can not find one of these locally or on ebay, nut size is 11mm, length including head is 30mm, head diameter 11mm, does anybody have one? If not which is the best way to get rid of the rust in all the hard to reach places, and to polish it up?
Thanks
John

What's it from John, seat clamp?
You could try leaving it in brown sauce overnight?
-
Lemon juice for a day or so
Then give it a brush
-
Yes Dan it's a seat clamp bolt, would like to keep this rather than use a none original part
-
Had this problem myself, citric acid or lemon juice, weak solution to remove the rust and a good rinse in water. Then use gun blue to bring the black back.

I always polish stem and seat clamp bolts on a bench wheel then clean inside the hexagon with a wire brush
Gun blue is always a good trick to restore the black like Marty said :daumenhoch:
