Darren KAP built a half pipe a couple of years ago, he was telling me about it in Blackpool, I was genuinely interested, like I was in everything he built, right up to the point where he'd tell you how much money he'd spent. I found myself walking away then.  ::)
Back to your original question, a good one ain't cheap.

I work for a company building skate ramps. If you are serious we have a few old ramps which will be sold off shortly. If you have the room there are a couple of 5ft mini half pipes for sale! If you just want a simple 1/4 I am sure it can be arranged. It is quiet now summer is over work wise and we don't really have enough storage for all the ramps at the moment. If you want a hand with drawings/plans let me know. it's easy enough done. Buying good materials is the important part and not cheap but worth doing if you want it to last. I would have been SO stoked as a kid if my dad built me any kind of ramp in my backyard!  :daumenhoch:

Yeah I know it's gonna cost me a few quid but should be so worth it for the boys I've got the space now I've sort of rejigged the garden. I'm planning on a five foot mini ramp

Cool, I am sure your boys will be stoked! we usually budget 4-5k to build a 5' mini properly. We have a couple of older ramps which are still solid which could be delivered and built for less than half that if you really can't be arsed!  :daumenhoch:
