Title: replacing 83 ripper seat post tube (help)

I need to replace the seat post tube on my 83 ripper,  anyone know what gauge tubing I need? Thanks

Here you mate,Early rippers used a seat tube to suit a 13/16" seat post (20.6mm) you got any pics to post of your ripper :daumenhoch:

I've found my welder who happens to ride bmx. Just gotta strip the powder off . I'll post progress pics.

Too cold welds Will crack again!

Well,show me THE backside off the plate,with the skull on.
Let's see,if THE welds are visiable from that Side....

Sorry I don't have the plate, what method would you use to weld aluminium?
