Title: dead frame
Post by: john4130 on October 04, 2014, 05:23 PM
i bought this haro master new in 1988 or early 89 and rode it for about 2 years, in that time i snapped the plate at the seat tube so i welded in a 6mm plate to replace it. then i cracked it at the headtube and ended up selling it to a mate who welded it up. he rode it for a few years and in that time he added more welding to the head tube and replaced a rear dropout. it then got stolen and someone cut the 990 mounts off and tried sanding off some of the chrome. my mate ended up getting it back but never rode it again as he got another bike. i finally bought it back off him about 6 months ago and was thinking of having it repaired but it would have been too much work so i just painted it with rattlecans (badly) and built it up. it looks ok from a distance.  ;D
