Hi Everyone,
Found this cheeky little number at a car boot sale yesterday afternoon.
Did a bit of research last night and discovered it's from 1982.
Don't recall Motobecane from bitd so any info would be greatly apprecaited
It's in excellent condition for it's age!

Shimano DX cranks and pedals

That's a lovely score from a car booty, keep it as is :4_17_5:.
Buz :coolsmiley:.
-
Nice bike, great parts on it.
Motobecane were French and eventually became MBK (in 1984 I think after being purchased by Yamaha).
That bike came out in 1982 and funnily enough is identical to the Yamaha BYZ501.

Great find. :daumenhoch:
-
Really clean survivor that, some top parts too.
-
Nice to find bikes like this :4_17_5:

Shimano DX cranks and pedals
DX seat post aswell Nick 8) Like Sean has said virtually same bike/spec as a Yamaha BYZ501 .
Is it stamped Tange on the bottom bracket ?
Cool find .
I'd stick two matching tyres on it , give it a sympathetic clean up and keep as is :daumenhoch:
