Title: Triton Magnesium hubs with Titanium axles - The art of rubbing
Post by: Orange777 on October 12, 2014, 03:27 PM
Gents,

Thought would have a really good go at getting some Triton Magnesium hubs with Titanium axles as shiny as possible.

This is made slightly harder as they have the OG decals on the hubs.

I have a Goddards Silver cloth and some Peek, but after an hour they look only about 10% better.

I know nothing about metals to be honest but just not sure what I need to do. This bike will never be leaving a temperature controlled room (where it has been stored for a long time), however I am thinking that some kind of reaction happens with the atmosphere?

I cannot be the only person challenged with this! Any help would be appreciated!
