Thank you. A thorough look at the photo I see. LOL
That is a busted Supergoose frame. Its someone else's frame. He wanted me to ask a local bike manufacturer to fix. But apparently its got too much work on it so it wont be worth it to save.

Nice :)
Thanks

I am sure. I would love to try and save it but its not mine. And unfortunately the bike company that was approached did not want to save it for whatever reason that was.

I opened up the Grease Monkey Garage yesterday and decided to do some work on the bikes.
First up is my 1985 Californian mock build. This is what I vision for it.
My plans are to make the frame, fork and stem white and also build it like an Eric Rupe but a mini version of it using the Eric Rupe stickers with a custom "mini" incorporated.
Then I needed to start making my bikes a bit more "roadworthy" and decided to start with the 1983 Mongoose Expert.
Fitted the front brakes (although not ideal) as well as a temporary chain ring until I get the suitable one.

Everyone says that but I have never been a fan of the look of the motomag. I will go wire wheel and I will restore it.

Found a missing piece to my collection. A stainless steel Mongoose Bar.

So after lots of patience I came across a Pro Class when I did not expect it. The previous owner decided that he needed a change and some blue parts and we struck a trade for the frame. I sacrificed a bit for it but for me it was worthwhile as it completes my 83 collection.
This is what the bike looked like many years ago which the owner had a photo of:
The day I did the trade I ended up bringing home all of this - it was quite a busy day:
I got to work on the stuck seat post tube but it didnt want to budge.

Eventually a friend of mine helped me with some heat and a vice and managed to get the post out:
I immediately decided lets put this bike together with some spares I have and this is the result:
