Not for the Mid school purists in here but thought I'd share it anyways :) I got the frame a while ago and have always loved the raw finish with the blue heat blemishes under the clear coat :smitten:
It's a tad smaller that the normal 21" TT i normally go for but beggars can't be choosers, so I went for a top loading stem and some huge new bars.
I had a lot of the bits so all in all it cost about £60 to put together :daumenhoch:
I built it up so i could ride it, rather than a museum piece so that's why it has modern stuff bolted on it :daumenhoch:
2 Hip SUB frame
Volume Black Mamba forks
FSA Headset
Eastern top loading stem
Xposure Infinity bars 9.5 rise
Eclat wheelset
Unites tyres
Prolite Stealth cranks
Standard 28t sprocket
Cult seat
Alone clamp
Salt plus brake (£1 online)
Primo lever

I did, do now, and will continue to love that :daumenhoch:

Splendid :daumenhoch:

isn't this where you thank the people who helped you on the build? ::)
-
Nice looking frame that. :daumenhoch:
Weird how it has the dented chainstay for larger sprockets but brake lugs on the seatstays.
A borderline ride if ever there was one. What's the chainstay length btw?

Very Nice!!! I only discovered this model of frame a few weeks ago, looking through the old 2-Hip catalogs. It's my fave 2-Hip frame now.
-
nice that Rob :daumenhoch: nice to see more big daft bars too , lot more comfy the old back :daumenhoch: :LolLolLolLol:
-
Nice smattering of ginger pubes, that you get on a raw frame :daumenhoch:
Nice build :daumenhoch:
-
Really like that Rob, I am getting more & more worried about why mid bikes are appealing to me though :chin:
-
Likin it rob baby, but that sprocket needs to live with me man
-
You got another 28t to swap it with?
-
You got another 28t to swap it with?
I have and I'll swap it with a bottleneck stem Pete.
Was that my old sprocket Rob, I've still got the matching stem somewhere.
-
Might be Gary, I think I sold it to munnyellow who then gave me it back :4_17_5:
Just like 28t with a 9t rear rather than 25
-
You must have legs like Chris Hoy :LolLolLolLol:
-
Will find you one young rob, get with it Baz ffs no one rides 25/9 no more
-
Think I giy-ya that sprocket a loooong time ago Rob :)
