Title: Road bike restoration
Post by: MartyC on October 25, 2014, 10:53 AM: This has only taken me about 4 years to finish but now it's done I am quite happy with the results. It goes on its first test ride tomorrow!

My old 653 Ribble road bike I bought in 1992 (I think), before its strip down it looked like this and was feeling old and tired:

Now after a full strip and almost entirely new groupset save for the headset, seatpost, levers/shifters and wheels it looks like this:
