Title: Using diacompe seat clamp as coaster anchor
Post by: adeshere on August 23, 2006, 10:35 PM
Not attempted this yet, but looking at the seat clamp, the hole is a lot bigger than the frame of my TA.

has anyone already done this before ?

Do you wrap tape around the frame first ?

Yep . . . old inner tube should do the trick  :daumenhoch:

Renthal clamps are no good as they're not hinged

I ended up using a modern alternative.

I put some tape onto the inside of the seat clamp, then shut it up.

I then placed it on to the bench and filled it up with ... No more nails

This then game me a white rubbery material which i the cut to hold the bar.

perfect !
