Hello to everyone.
Still got my last ride here from the 80's. A Redline RL20, I think it's was from 1985. I guess I can call this a survivor.
This is how it finished up, not quite the parts Redline supplied them with but some quality parts anyway from the 80's. Well parts my paper round could afford to pay for anyway!
It's been in my Dad's shed since about 1990.
I plan to tidy it up and get it rolling again. I don't want to make it original I want to make it similar to how I had it. What do you think?
Anyway this looks like the place for tips and parts.

:welcome to Rad evo. :daumenhoch:
I think you can definitely call it a survivor. :LolLolLolLol:
Strip it, clean it, build it, ride it. ;)

Hiya mate, and :welcome to :radbmxsmilie:
That looks spot on, do nothing with it except strip/clean/grease/rebuild/ride/enjoy.
It looks just how are bikes did back then, no bling. I especially like the odd tyres (very 80's) and the Benetton and Swatch stickers.
Cool bike. :coolsmiley:

Thanks for the warm welcome
Glad to see my bike can still impress!
The 6 spokes and the bars were a late addition, some time around 89-90,
Before that it was Tuff II's and Space Bars - Who remembers them?
Hope to see a few around the midlands when I get going again.
