I HAVE AN ELINA UL SEAT IS THERE ANY WAY OF GETTING THE SEAT POST OUT OFF IT,THEN SAT TO RE-ATTATCH ONE TO IT,HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS EVER DID THIS OR TRIED IT AND CAN IT BE DONE :daumenhoch:

Caps lock
Can't remember what they look like underneath but suspect they are either glued or riveted.
Why do you want to remove it and refit it?
-
They are glued in with the strongest stuff I've ever encountered (plus they've been sat for years making it even worse to get off) You can remove the post but you'll end up breaking at least part of the seat underneath :-\ I drilled the rivet out first at the back then you do what you have to if your not worried about saving the seat ::)
-
When i got the seat there was damage to the post,so would like to remove it and put a straight one on it.
-
Then I would say near impossible to do as you've more chance of saving the post rather than the seat unfortunately :(
-
hmmm ah well the bin it is then :-\
