or is there an easy to use alternative that you all use nowadays?
-
Never had probs, but I use the AdBlock plugin for Firefox so's never got any of them nasty ads that gave you viruses.
Loadsa people on here use Tapatalk or iPhone thingumigiggy from their mobiles now. Photobuckets still ok, but clunky.
-
Like our mid school friend above, never had a single issue with Photobucket
-
Like Danny, I use Adblock on both platforms, Google Chrome and Firefox, and never had an issue with viruses from Photobucket.
The only issues I ever had was after uploading the pictures, they took a day to actually show and sometimes the picture would disappear after displaying it on here. That resolved itself over a year or so ago now :daumenhoch:

tapatalk automagically compresses n converts to Imageshack.com if you wanna give that a try?
tbh its the easiest thing to do now all onboard the iphone or whatever device you want.
hope that that helps?

thx lads :daumenhoch:

Never had any trouble with it even when we had the virus scare. ;)

Photobucket fooked my laptop up big time, had my brother in law had to take it to work for a couple of days to clean it up.
It was that or Big hairy minges.com ? :LolLolLolLol:

no issues

Never had a problem with Photobucket.
-
Same here, its been fine on my Mac.
-
Photobucket has fooked up my laptops about 4 times now, two were malicious and two weren't I just ended up with fooking yahoo as default homepage.
If you are going to use it you really have to use something like adblock.
-
I run Adblock and ghostery on my browsers. I mainly use chrome cos it don't bitch about flash every five mins. I FEKKIN hate flash. Horrible legacy software. We should all be on html5 by now. Also on a Mac make sure you're firewall is turned on and set to 'stealth mode'. Turn off any sharing unless you really need it. Sophos provides a free Mac version of their bloody good AV software. Our IT dept has used it virus free for years. Just a bit of a performance hit tho. Hope that helps?
