My new little toy was dug out of a garage in Southampton, then stored with a friend, and I removed it from his possession today, it's not stock, but it was definitely upgraded back in the day to this spec. So upgraded survivor spec, all I've done is change the seat post from a wänk layback.

Sr stem :( it's going

Dc 1020

Og Chengies complete lll pattern

I fookin love this J. :coolsmiley:
it's cool as fook dan, just needs a gentle clean, maybe replace the missing decals, and that awful stem, yum yum then
-
You know what Jaymz, I do so love a survivor over a bling build. They have more meaning and all those parts on that bike are what we (most of us) had and used back then, even the SR stem that wasn't really that bad to be honest :daumenhoch:
Love it mate :coolsmiley:

Nice survivor Jay :daumenhoch:

Cheers all, I've had my trusty tube of autosol out tonight, swapped out the grips and put a dk stem on it
Really bad iphone pics in a dimly lit shed at night!

Is that a DK stem Jay?
yes mate it is. They always look so small compared to all the rest. I'm making another 'tuf neck' for it soon

Bit more polishing, shlt photos

Nice, that's in great condition. One of the locals at our track had one of those around 85/86. The frame was short and light, a bit like you!!
