Post by: Dannywhac on December 09, 2014, 07:19 AM
So, anyone know of any other UK made hubs from the mid period? I know these:

Rekkas
Georges various ones
Static freecoasters
Emo
Alexs PEs

I don't know of any mass produced hubs but i know at least one chap who made his own hubs, very similar to gsport/bullseye. Made in a shed in the 90's and still in use!

King made axle upgrade kits. Not sure if they were UK made though?

Got any pics Ben?

Yeah - I think the King axle upgrade kits (at least the metal collars) were UK made.

Will have a look at if Missions were made here  :daumenhoch: . Know the 70's ones were made abroad (them ones that looked a lot like the second gen Gacks).

Yeah, Rekkas were ace (well, all of the UK ones were ace).

Picky of a rear Rekka axle for awesomeness. 16mm of awesomeness  :daumenhoch:

Thems the ones. Crazy expensive weren't they?

Those hubs are nice Ben - they got grub screws in the collars rather than press-fit collars?

Yeah grub screws. They've never been cleaned either looking at the state of them.  ::)
