I have a genuine 84 Haro fst and I need some honest advice. Is it worth putting new decals on it or should I leave the old ones on? Some are chipped and some are peeling away a bit. I don't want to do something that will effect it's future value.

Hi Bozzer, :welcome to :radbmxsmilie:
Get some pics up, and we'll be able to point you the right way. Even without seeing your bike, I can tell you that survivor builds are very popular lately, so you may want to go down that route, it's a cheaper option if nothing else. :daumenhoch:

Get a site supporter Tag and put this up in the Tech & Resto section :)
As above gets some pictures up!

It is what it is and it's worth what it's worth regardless. New paint and stickers or keeping it survivor probably won't have much affect on it's value. It all depends on what you want. :)

I know its paint, but give it a Oxy bath then touch in all the rust spots with a paint pen.

From what i can see I would leave it as it is, IMHO :)

Clean it, service it and ride it pal, there to be enjoyed. :4_17_5:

It's not that bad to be honest but I think an intial clean up will be the first step and then ride it! I can always strip down and re paint another time right!

That's a nice survivor... just strip it and clean it up... it'll look sweet. :daumenhoch:

Yeah leave that , just a spit and polish for me.
