Anyone owned or have a Mafia Bike? What are they like compared to the rest?   :daumenhoch:

They are great bikes, but the main problem is that if you ride any other sort of bike at all and they find out you will wake up with a horses head on the bed next to you as a warning  :LolLolLolLol:  :2gunsfiring_v1:

They're the modern day burner, I see loads of lads ripping about on them

I won a 24" blackjack, the frame forks were built very nicely, the parts were fudge, the stem and cranks looked like they'd been cast from plasticine, the steel sprocket was somewhat flexy, wheels and tyres were ok.

I sold it proper cheap to xgoose dan he took it back to Hong Kong and abused it! Ask him for a durability report

They're probably fine. Some of the builds look stylish enough. I've no idea which components are used...

There was a used one at the auction I went to Tuesday, looked ok but I thought £10 was too much to spend on it so stopped bidding at £8  ???

Surely tom justice is running mafia bikes decals on a different higher end frame.they would never hold up to that style of riding, they look like toys.

I didn't mean they were boat anchors and poop like most of the burners, what I meant was they are as popular as burners were bitd as an entry level rider, you can spot them a mile off around my way as theyre all the frames with no stickers on as all the kids have de branded them!!  in 25 years times there will be forums dedicated to the restoration of them, and fights over era correctness!!

maybe you meant they'll be millions of kids all excited when they get them on Christmas morning, only to feel the pain of shame and disappointment 6 months later when they realise how shyte they are??   ;)  (i'm joking before any Burner fans jump down my neck)  ;D

to be honest most of the kids i see round here ride terrible bmx`s from barracuda  so on ,if just two of them rode something with better angles would be a good thing in my view .
at the end of the day the more kids riding bmx the better what ever make or model as good for the sport

totally agree Paul, i was only joking.  They look good enough for what most kids do on them and like you say, if it helps kids progress onto better bikes in the future then all's good  :daumenhoch:

They certainly know how to make a bike look better than it actually is.
We see a lot of them coming to the shop I work in for repair. Main issue is warranty, or lack of. Bikes are only available online and warranty is very difficult to deal with. Things like wheels and cranks are what goes. Frame holds up but then they are only young kids that are on them.
