I know of a company that does anodising, the jigs they use to hold the components on are made of titanium I believe, worth giving them a call or I can ask the question the next time I'm over there.

PM me if youre interested, not sure on what colours you could get but will try to help if I can mate

it may be quicker and cheaper just to buy new ones.

Weren't a lot of the titanium frames BITD left bare, like the Titan Mini frames for example? I hadn't really thought about an anno finish for a frame before until reading this thread.

What size for Pro Class Rims to Bullseye Hubs ???
Title: Re: Can you Anodise Titanium...
Post by: nosepickben on December 20, 2014, 03:11 PM
Google "dt Swiss spoke length calculator", measure your hub and fill in the form. Experience tells me to round down the result, not up. It give you a spoke length to 2 decimal places. So for instance if it says 186.85 then get 186 or 185, not 187.

Can anyone give me the 'Effective Rim Diameter' of a Mongoose Pro Class Rim:

Step 1

Measure across the rim from spoke hole to opposite spoke hole, it should give a similar measurement to the picture..

This called the Effective Rim Diameter (ERD), take this measurement in mm.
