Picking up the bike tomorrow - just ordered the tent, sleeping bag and my new helmet, now wishing the days away until next weekend :LolLolLolLol:
Who else is coming?
-
Bloody hell mate you wont be that enthusiastic when you see the back straight :LolLolLolLol:
-
Would like to see some pics of the track... but then again.....
Is it worse than the first straight at Hayes :LolLolLolLol:
-
Hehehehe, Bournemouth, big-ass scary track.
And they're on cruisers in that pic.
-
Christ i'm having flashbacks.
-
Did he make it though? :LolLolLolLol:
-
All i can say its lucky i have a new helmet....
Will probaby need a new pair of pants by the time i have rode round it :LolLolLolLol:
-
Did he make it though? :LolLolLolLol:
Yes he did, Jamie Vince if I remember correctly.
Sats, check out my website for pics of Bournemouth from last years gathering, www.meddle.info (http://www.meddle.info)
-
I think to summaries, I would use the word “BIG” :LolLolLolLol:
-
Out of interest - Do i need anything to race a "proper" race... certain colour number plate, etc???
-
just as long as ya number is clearly visable you'll be fine.
-
hmm bournmouth, the only track based on a concrete skatepark ::)
-
true
-
So not only will I have trouble with the track - I will also have trouble getting my tent pegs in the ground :LolLolLolLol:
-
only if you camp on the track ;D ;D ;D
-
hope that tent is bloody waterproof aswell? ::)
-
you can relax a bit sats as that big dip in the jump has been filled in since then.its actually not to bad to ride at speed.good job you got a new bike though as i would'nt fancy your chances of escaping injury on that firebird.
-
Shame the gaps been filled - Looked like a big enough space for my tent :LolLolLolLol:
Yeah, just picked up the bike - not too sure of the condition - off to get it out the car and have a closer inspection!
-
have fun be safe :)
-
Dont worry about Bournemouth, its no where near as scary as Hayes first straight. Like Jazzy says the middle has been filled in on the big step-up.
See you in the Scout hut for Jazzy's hokekokey disco Saturday night. And the Hawks own media whore Tonydabutcha is on test the nation, so I think theres going to be a TV as well so we can watch that. Personaly I'll probably get very drunk and talk crap all night, then struggle to do anything that resembles racing on Sunday.
-
karaoke and test the nation.how sophisticated us hawks have become.i'll take two tellys so we can watch the butch without getting in the way of some awesome singing.
-
Hopefully there will be a huge turnout as this is the last Southern
Reg before the brits, weather looks good at the moment, so get
yourselves down the south coast next Sunday.
-
sats, tony and i wont be going down on the saturday.the weather is forcast heavy rain all day.this will mean most people wont bother going down on the saturday and hence no point in me hiring a trailer to lug my pa and camping stuff down.hawks wont be there and neither will brixton.there will be plenty there on sunday but not being able to ride the track sat really means its a pointless and expensive two dayer.
-
Hopefully there will be a huge turnout
There was one of those at MK, sure Spudhead was guilty :LolLolLolLol:
-
Sorry guys. but could I have the details of this meet please as the MRD's need an airing!
Thanks in advance.

Was just looking at the website. Go to History / 1980s and look how flat the track was

Got hammered in football yesterday and can't move my head, so can't drive. Are there any other meets on the south coast that I can come too? I live in Brighton.
Cheers,
Adey.
