Title: How to dye an Elina seat
Post by: ccshell on January 02, 2015, 08:12 PM
Hi Everyone,
Happy new year to everyone.

How do you dye a nylon seat??

I have a dark blue elina ET seat which I want to dye black. I have been told Dylon works well but would welcome some help. I have therefore bought some velvet black dylon and salts.

Is it simply a cae of heating a pan of hot water, adding the dye, adding the salt then adding the seat? How long does it take and what do the salts do? Will the gold decals get coloured too?

Any help much appreciated.

I think Jono's just done one, but there should be something in here on how to do it if you have a dig about ;)
