Title: Changing Gyro, can I use same cables?

I bought a complete gyro set up for my new school bike but its a bit cheap and heavy, can I just get one of the slimmer,lighter ones and use same cable?

Should be able to so long as the threads the same on the cable ends as the new gyro plate you'll purchase  :daumenhoch:
