The Decal with thanks to Paul Browning

This year we are going back to Chester on the 28th March

Chester Railway Station at 12:00
Some of the regular bars including the Bar of Hanging Bicycles.
As always we will be losing the bikes about 8pm and then on for more beer. Plenty of people will be staying in hotels and partying the night away.

Get your names down and come and enjoy the walled city on a kids bike

Ok, so I've just seen the updated list of riders, and 90 potential's is pretty awesome.  :4_17_5:

So those of you who are regulars on this ride will know that The Custom House or the bar of hanging bicycles is a firm favourite stopping point on the route, you will also know that the yard at the back is tiny, and there's no way that 90 bikes and riders will get in there, and getting in and out of it will be a killer.  "nono"

What my plan to do is, take those who don't want to get snarled up in this pub, to another pub with a bigger beer garden, possibly The Commercial, and then meet up with the main group when they leave The Custom House.

I'm not trying to upset your itinerary Brett, but with numbers if this size, we need to be realistic as to potential crushing, scratching of bikes and queuing to get served.  :daumenhoch:

I know what you are saying there. Are going to be extra staff on at the bars :). I have spoke to them all this week. We will see how many there are on the day and call it then.

We could go for multiple world record attempts. Most bikes in a confined space, plus longest queue for the bogs and bar. Someone dig up Norris McWhirter and get him to the custom house. He'll need a bike for the ride though. Looking forward to it  :) :daumenhoch: :radbmxsmilie:

All you newbies should avoid the custom house like the plague as you would really hate it and the really terrible burgers they serve !  :LolLolLolLol:  :D >:(  .... Just kidding ofcourse!

A good idea to have a plan b ... It's always s bit of a squash though and this year it will be chocker ;)

b) fall off a boat
c) fall off a cliff
d) have a heart attack on an oil rig

Thanks for the update Nick , glad he's ok  :daumenhoch:    ........ the headache was probably through the amount of beer consumed !!

13 stitches doesn't surprise me , it was a nasty cut and was pissing blood out

Fair play to the ambulance , they were there within 5 minutes of me making the call  :Great_Britain:
