Ive got this old bmx and was wondering if amyone had any info abwt it i thought it could be a 1984 piranha freestyler but im not sure
-
Yep... it's deffo a Piranha Freestyler. :daumenhoch:
-
Hi Amy, ignore him :LolLolLolLol:
It's what you think it is, for sure.
I have one myself, which I bought to replicate the bike I had aged 13, in 1985.
As far as I'm aware, none of these are stamped, so difficult to tell if it's an '84 or an '85. I would guess that yours is an earlier one, possibly '84, but I'm only basing this on the stem (mine had a Suntour copy), and your decals (mine had prismatic ones).
I do know that they were made in Brierley Hill in the Midlands, very badly, but as a result of their poor quality, they are quite rare, this being one of 5 (to my knowledge).

That's what I said... without going round the houses. :P

Amy, as a newbie, you won't know that quite often on here we get people joining as they own/have found/have been given a BMX and want to know more info on it.
More often than not, these tend to be veiled 'what's it worth' threads so that the member can get a rough idea of its value, then whack it on eBay.
-
Sorry chaps but so what, I'm surprised a site supporter tag hasn't been mentioned 18 times as is the norm.

They used to be one of my favourite hardcore/punk groups. A close third to Fat Girls in Bikinis and
Vaginal assault.... :LolLolLolLol:
-
Something a bit fishy about the biding. Only started today and all ready at £176. "nono"
-
You've got very manly hands Amy ^"^
-
An interesting item/auction this...
A very niche item i'd say. Probably only a handful of people looking for one. It could go for a high ish price, as you hardly ever see them (as Dan said).

Don't worry about it Amy... we're just a load of miserable old fookers who play with kids bikes... we'll get over it. :LolLolLolLol:
