Hey guys - can anyone help answer this one...
Bought a couple of frames and some bits from the States. The guys saying the post office are asking $150 postage, that seems a tad rich to me - is that on the money or can you advise me a better way for him to send?
Cheers!

For a couple of frames+ that's not unusual. It all depends how they've packed it as size matters.
Terry (Gnarleyscoots) does a lot of US dealings, drop him a pm

One of the lads on here gets bikes from the states all the time and i think it averages between £40 to £60 for the ones he's had.

It all depends on the paper work

i paid 85 dollars for frame and forks usps in jan . if the seller marks gift/sample and under the equivilant of 38 pound you will avoid customs charges.

It also depends on the service you use too. I paid £85 to send just a frame (no forks) to the US to get it repaired. This was the top service from parcelforce. Fully tracked and insured. It left the uk on Monday and arrived at it's destination in Arizona by Thursady the same week. As with anything, you generally get what you pay for
