Title: Nostalgic GT Performer build
Post by: Nosnod on August 27, 2006, 09:57 AM
Christmas 1984 I got this GT Pro Performer and spent virtually every waking minute on it

Roll forward a few years (22!) and here is the replica I have just finished

Thanks for the comments guys. When I got back into the old school scene this was the one build that I wanted to do without fail as that particular bike held a lot of good memories for me which I think is what it is all about.

With regard to the numberplate I have one and it is virtually finished just need a black VANS decal, and as for the posing in the old school clothes I dont think so !!!! :-[ :-[ :-[

Just want to thank a few people for this build:

Dave (Stodgy) for confirming my original ID on the F&F that I saw in the States.
Wolfy, Julian (Old school rider), showtime and Marcus(mivvi) for some of the bits and Si (Retrogeezer) for swapping his GT mallet stem for my Profile stem  :daumenhoch:
