Just finished building this

Late 90's SE USA made Quad, I will swap out some parts as and when I get the replacements (wheels, cranks and pedals mainly)
:) DINGO :)

Well up to the usual Dingo standard. Maybe there should be a standard mark, Mark, a bit like the BSI kite.
-
Looks good mate :)

Mark, Mark? isnt that a dog with a hare lip :LolLolLolLol:
Thanks guys
:) DINGO :)

Nice build. :daumenhoch:
I've got the same F&F but I've just stripped the blue paint yesterday ready for a good polishing
-
What is it like under the paint Del?
I had the same idea, I used to have a polished one but someone had butchered the drops so I sold it

Its a bit rough, but after an hour with 1500 wet and dry and then a brillo pad its come up quite nice, I had a go at polishing the rear chainstays before it rained and it came out like chrome! I'll pick up some autosol tomorrow and I'll take some pics when its done.
-
Del, look forward to seeing the pics :daumenhoch:
Meddle, The wheels are not mine so I will need to build up something suitably bling to grace it bit it will have to wait untill after Xmas when I can afford it
:) DINGO :)

Nice one! Looking sweeeeet! :4_17_5:

Yet another Dingo classic.
You really are the polar opposite of MotomagII aren't you. :LolLolLolLol:
-
Dingo, I did a bit more polishing today, you can see the difference between the left of the frame and the rear right, this was using a polishing mop attached to a drill. (still no autosol)

Good work Dingo.
Me thinks the back end will be a little long for your we' stumps. You'll never get it to manual shorty! :2funny:
Are those 165mm cranks? ;D

-
Nice work Mark!
Have you chance to take it for a spin yet?
-
Cheers Dan,
took it out last week but it felt really long (1" longer rear end, 3/4" top tube than my Kappa and I am only 5'10", Shut it JJ ;) ) I put a shorter stem on it and I am gonna try it out again on Saturday.it feels more like a cruiser :LolLolLolLol:
It is really stable though
:) DINGO :)
