£871.00...... Just daft. Each to their own i suppose, but a touch rich......
-
Yes big money that I thought they'd fetch about half that I must admit I have never seen any of this type with the graphite embossed into the rim actually ever sold , just shows with the rare stuff people will still pay big bucks -and if you put a few really good items on at the same time all the stuff fetches good money
-
Some serious beerbay going on........ Nice though! I wouldn't chuck them out the man cave.
-
Guy on Facebook said he bid £1800 on them to make sure he got them :wtf:

😄 people are still loving this hobby I think the middle of the road stuff is cheaper now but the top end is still selling and fetching good money
-
 I'd seen these. They were very nice. Is this the guy that has a big, big collection that is now selling off some of his stuff?
-
Was Subwax on here.
A lot of his stuff goes for big money.
-
I got my GHP Pro f and f from Mr Subwax last year offa ebay! Strange thing was when I emailed him about his Rad connection he replied with "what's Rad BMX ?"
Good seller though.. Got a free GHP decal set thrown in when it arrived! :daumenhoch:
As for those wheels ... It's like all rare bits ... There are always going to be people with money who will fight for these things ... I guess it all keeps our hobby thoroughly entertaining doesn't it ? :)
-
SUBWAX was on the original blue RAD site, he had a falling out with the owners and got banned i believe..........hence his comment. before my time as a mod i'm afraid
-
Cheers for the heads up!
I guess prices are always about wealth and supply and demand ...
One persons' £80 is another persons £800 if you get what I mean...
It's all relative ... I've heard about some members on here paying £2000 for hubs ... I'm not judging .. It's whatever floats your boat and fits your wallet size I guess :chin:
-
definitely but i wouldn't pay anywhere near that for a set of wheels but i'm a tight fooker ;D
-
The monkey bars and the orange GHP he had for sale sold for bargain prices on ebay lasy night. My VDC Changa originally came from him. I bought a black pair of Oakley B2's from him on ebay (to go on the Changa funnily enough!). Would love to see the amount of stuff he has/or has had in the past. Most of it is high end gear "wantit"
-
I was tempted by the white survivor GHP.
How much did the orange go for?
-
Might get my graphites up for sale if i can get anywhere near that for them.
-
Beautiful set of Rims...
Crazy money tho...
Some tasty gear that WundaWend has for sale...
-
Orange ghp went for 275 , as said monkey bars were reasonable I was the underbidder they went for 185 if I needed them I would have bid more on them but at 180 I'd have bought them anywhere , always like watching his auctions as he's always something rare , it shows decent nos tyres always fetch good money I suppose they are getting rarer nowadays

I've deleted them from my ebay list now, but i think the vdc monkey bars went for about £160, the orange GHP for £240 ish. The chrome one went for more. I didn't see the final price on the white survivor. There have been a few things come up for sale in the last few weeks that i would have loved to get. The red GHP on here markyp's old one), Brass Monkeys national pro long (in the for sale section now), and the chrome and orange GHP's that Neil/Subwax/Wundawend was selling. Just no funds at the moment :'(
-
Too slow with my reply! Thanks for posting up the correct sale prices. I love watching his auctions too. In the last 2 years he's sold: at least 2 VDC Changas, a GJS big tube, at least 1 VDC freestyler, at least 5/6 GHP's, numerous Redline freestylers, not to mention things like skyway graphites, a few pairs of NOS/mint Oakley grips, redline stems, a few sets of VDC monkey bars and the rarer freestyle bars. Some unbelievable stuff has surfaced. I'm sure there's been more that i've missed. We should start a 'what have you bought from Wundawend' thread
-
The white survivor went for £216.11.
-
I bought a few Trickstars from him over the years, a NOS JMC layback post and countless other goodies

Have you ever met him in person Terry? Would love to know where he acquired his bmx stash from...
-
Yes, I'm meeting him this week again. I think he got it just buying over the years from all the places we prob do
-
He's shifted a serious amount of stuff over the last few years.
Must have had a serious stash in the first place.
-
Think i read somewhere that he has shipping containers full of stuff.
Could be wrong though....
-
Take me to those containers!! ... Right now!! 8)
-
Pretty impressive indeed, Ant there all yours mate I am out "help"
