Title: Shimano DX pedals in lavender/purple (Now with Pics!!!)

Did Shimano ever make old DX pedals in the colour Lavender/purple??
I've searched the web & can't find any info so all input is greatly welcome.
The reason I ask is because I scored a few BNIB shimano DX pedals & when i opened the box which should have contained the silver DX, I found the following:

FYI - posted the same topic on bmxmuseum but the info stalled so thought i'd put the feelers out on this side of the pond!

Post by: alst on February 16, 2015, 07:45 AM: Forgot to mention that the box was sealed with the original Shimano tape so they must have been this colour when they left the factory!

Thought I'd been had, but seems not to be the case ;)
