Title: Been playing this evening

I picked up a DB senior pro frame at MK last year (cheers steve for the heads up on that) and kept my eyes open for the proper forks for it.  Well the gent Sawzall had a set that he'd 'fixed' and would need a re chrome.  Mid school Olly did me a huge favour and picked them up and took them to the chromers for me.  It took a while but he picked them up again from the chromers and they arrived this morning.

So I grabbed my frame, headset and decals and after my chili I sat and put it all together.  I'm well pleased with how its come out

Cheers guys, always loved the chrome and black DBs and I wanted a fixer upper. This will be a rider and done a little different than the usual.  Might be a while though as I'm moving house soon  :daumenhoch:

most of that black crap on the drops normally comes off with some toothpaste and a stiff toothbrush . lookin good.

Is the Senior Pro, the same as a Large Pro?

I bought an '80 Large Pro last year (and sold it a few months later when i was skint  ::)) with the same forks

Yes I believe they're the same.....just checked the serial and its July 80

mines lovely. Done a fair few pub miles on it already. Don't what the geometry differences are between yours and my early small gusset pacer but being a higher end model compared to mine it can only be better

Its got a 19" top tube so miles longer than my Viper which is probably what your pacer was taken from?

My Robinson Pro had those forks on when I found it ..  ???  managed to swop them for Robinson forks.

With some help from Sawzall  (big thanks for the flex fighter) I fitted the stem, bars and grips this arvo after some fighting with the stem
