Can this be purchased at B&Q ???
-
Citric every time :daumenhoch:
get a 1kg bag off the bay fella
-
Aye, same here, small bucket off the bay :daumenhoch:
No idea if you can get it at B&Q
-
How much do you use then ?
-
I used just under a kilo, in a large storage tub from B&Q.
No idea how much water, just filled the tub from the hosepipe, until it covered the frame.
-
I've never used citric , but most people seem to prefer it to oxalic . I have used oxalic acid with good results on chrome , although if the concentrate is too strong or maybe it's left in too long it has left yellowy deposits in places .
I don't leave it in too long and like to withdraw early to avoid leaving deposits :surprise:

If anyone is thinking of buying Citric Acid just a quick heads up that Wilkos (if you have a local store) sell it for £1.50 for a 250g box :daumenhoch:
