My knackered old tuffs looked that good after Spen and Dordy got mine done :4_17_5: That good they r now on a my MRD pro with Ride-on retrofit hubs fitted :daumenhoch:

So has anybody used the company that I posted in the Link? And if so were you happy with the way the wheels turned out?
-
I emailed him on ebay to get some answers about some things, like he says bearing has to be removed but if it is later version tuffs the metal hub is moulded into the plastic, which he didnt answer that question, i am still thinking of giving him a go as there is no place near me which does vapour balsting, will let u knwo what happens :)

I would imagine having the bearings removed and no axle just prevents water getting in to the bearings and grease blasted out and also probably makes it slightly easier to handle :)
-
but would this process damage the alloy hub flanges?
-
Using soda with a liquid shouldn't damage it.
Using soda without water will, and remove anodising too.
-
So unless somebody sends him some alloy hubbed skyway and we see the results then we are none the wiser and the jury is still out?
