Hi I going to be getting a new bmx soon and was looking at a few. Mongoose r70, haro 350.1 haro 400.1. Now I do like the mongoose plus I've had mongoose bike throughout my life so I can trust them. But haro seem like they're are on a different level Like parts that come with it. Also is there much of a difference between the 350.1 and the 400.1. I know the 400.1 has a ccomplete chromo frame but will this make a major difference. I ride stree. And cruise around but want it to last and take bunny hops and.random shenanigans that me and my mate do. Is the 400.1 worth the extra in my case or is the 350.1 great to have. Thanks for any help feel free to ask questions

feel free to ask questions
Does bcfc stand for bristol, bradford or birmingham city ?
-
what's your budget? ??? where are you based?
-
Stands for Birmingham City ( obvs best team in the world). And.my budget is around the £400)quid mark however rrif say the price around 300 is say not too different for what I'll use it for then I'd Probs spend 300 and spend the saved money customising
-
I would go for the full cromo frame all day long :daumenhoch:
-
how tall are you? what sort of Top tube length are you looking to get?
This is pretty sorted for the dosh

I looked at the Haro and they were only cromo front triangle?
-
I am 5-10 and my legs are 32 long so couldim not really too bothered about the top tube as long as it's not way to low. Also haro are mostly front triangle chromo bit there higher end ones are full that we the people seems really good compare it to the 400.1 haro which would you say is better equipped, better priced?

I wouldn't get too hung up on names if I were you... The wtp is real good value. :daumenhoch:

Have any of you had experience with wethepeople. The parts they use the frame itself what are they like
-
TT length is very important so don't rule it out, at your height I'd guess you're looking at at least a 21" so you have enough room. Plenty of good deals about so take your time and shop around

This is a bargain and very nice!

You're not wrong, hadn't seen that :daumenhoch:

wethepeople are a german brand at the forefront of bmx today. The bike being sold above by workshyfop that everyone is steering you towards is a custom i.e not original parts but it has all the right bits where it counts i.e full cromo, double walled rims,,,and it has brakes!!! you would save yourself a shedload of cash and get a better spec bike.....unless you REALLY want a new bike! Haro and mongoose is just a name these days and all made in Taiwan.... :daumenhoch:
-
What he said ^^^^^^
-
Think it may have gone now anyway... Good stuff doesn't hang about!
-
Bloody zulus!
-
mega bargain!!!
-
Ok thanks for the help. So what would each of you recommend with a budget of around the 300 quid mark give or take. Now that is for a new bmx I'll obvs take you thoughts and.possible find a second hand one.
-
300 quid don't really get you that much as far as new completes go! better of buying second hand with new school, more bargains to be had. If you buy one from someone on here it is less likely to have been thrashed within an inch of it's life! :daumenhoch:

I mean that wtp for 330 imo is pretty darn good from what I'm currently riding. It's a big upgrade plus I'm not looking to upgrade till further down the line
-
If it hasn't gone I'd seriously think about the one above...
I'd take a hardly-used full cromo bike over a new cheaper spec bike any day
