I bought this bike last week on eBay for the princely sum of 60Euro. It is apparently a Stolen bikes frame, it has Saltplus cranks, Mankind bearings, Haro forks and a KHE seat. The bars are unknown but I am going to be replacing them as they bend downwards a little bit. It is currently brakeless but I will be fitting a rear brake with a long cable soon as brakeless scares me!
Here are a few photos.

I have been out on it a few times this week and am enjoying it so far, it is totally different to my K2 with it being so light and the tyres are a lot fatter and they seem to be a little bit faster. I bought this bike as a bike that I can mess with without being bothered about upgrading parts or falling off and ruining the paint. The rough colour scheme for it is going to be black and white but that is not too strict.

Hey guys bit of an update!
I had the whole of the Easter weekend to myself as the wife is on a hen do in Manchester so I am doing what any normal almost 30 year old would do and messing about with my small bike! As I am too old for brakeless riding I thought it would probably be a good idea to put a brake on this thing. So seen as I had the afternoon free I headed over to Crow Store an bought this little lot.

Full of enthusiasm and excitement at having a new and rather cool looking brake I addressed the first problem first.

Now I was all set to get going. It was fairly straight forward although it did take me a while to setup the load on the springs on the brake arms. It does look rather cool though!

There are no cable mounts on this frame (I think someone has taken them off for whatever reason so I had to get inventive and use cable ties.

I took it straight out for a test and it works a treat! I think I might have to get some fatter cable ties because the cable does slip a little in them but other than that it's awesome!

built to ride!
If you get some velcro wraps rather than cable ties the brakes will work better ... so I was told :daumenhoch:

You know what? I had never thought of that! Cheers dude! I have been racking my brains all week of how to secure the cable better.
The reason for this bike i just a bit of fun, I can swap parts without worrying about originality an I can ride it and fall off without worry of damage. I can also park it up outside of the bar after a days riding and if it goes missing it's not the end of the world like it would be with my DMC. I will probably sell it come the end of the year but a bit of fun in the summer never hurt anyone.

So there are no cable stops at all? How does the brake work :pilky:
-
^^^^ Wor he said - that cable'll shift apres a few uses.
Measure the diameter of your top tube, and get one of these in a corresponding size:

Might tear your goolies off though if you slide down the TT.
Good muggage na'll btw.
