Title: Got myself a project

Hi all

Just thought I'd say hello before I spam you all for help.  A number of years ago I may have come home drunk and bidded on a old PK Ripper (not looptail :( ) as it was the BMX of my dreams as a kid. I woke up the next day with a hangover and an ebay invoice from the states for the Ripper I'd won! Anyway long story short I'm hopefully now in place to get her looking ship shape.

Already looking forward to a citrus degrease rust bath :)

Ps I use to ride a Torker 280 @ Thornbury Rd, Isleworth. Watched it go from the dodgy rubber strips to the track that I bunked my first day off school to watch the Kelloggs races :)

Pps Whats the best way about going about a restoration post? Should I just post up some pictures of where I am now and what I'd like to achieve?

Never... oh no... hold on... always get drunk if you need the courage to buy something  :laugh:

Give it a good Gunking to get the grease off before the Citric / Oxalic bath ... post a thread up in the Resto section and go from there  :angel:

good point! if its an aluminum frame then it won't be rusty  :laugh:

If it's a painted frame just wash it and polish it... if it's a bare aly frame just wash it and polish it. Sorted.  :daumenhoch:
