I've never been into the whole reissue / repop thing, but if they make their way over here I'll have one of these (if their reasonably priced after imports etc)

Why were their Two different versions of the ET Bike?  ... I really like the gold rimmed one better than the black... Did both appear in the movie or just the black wheeled one?
Some fabulous pictures there mate ... Some I've never seen before either :4_17_5:

I think the gold rimmed one might have just been for Elliot to cruise around on round the set  ???

The last batch of KZ01's they re-released sold for about £750, cant see this being any cheaper.

I agree .... Bloody import duty always seems to spoil what potentially could be an interesting affordable Repop item  :knuppel2:

I could always bring what you can't fit in when I come over in August! Actually, maybe I should buy a bigger suitcase and bring one over for MK15!! :daumenhoch:

Btw, you need to add 8% sales tax onto the sales price so that'll make it 62,640Yen.

I was going to buy an old school survivor or something to cruise around one but our kid picked up a new school cheap for me. Might be tempted all the same if it looks decent in the flesh  :daumenhoch:

You could always buy this:-

120,000Yen (+ that 8% tax) at Screamin' Wheels, the Tokyo-based old school shop who organize the Happy Bike Meetings!

It says on their website that it's a '93.

Yes they stock vintage parts, though ironically most of it's shipped over from the US!! It's DEFINITELY worth a visit though, with old frames and wheels hanging from the ceiling, a rack of old race jerseys and boxes of this, that and the other scattered around plus lots of retro Americana stuff like patches and badges, etc. The owner, Inoue-san, is a nice guy and speaks some English too. My favourite old school shop for sure. :daumenhoch:

No, it's Screamin' Wheels. W-BASE has some cool, old school stuff on display but not much for sale. I'd say that they're aiming for a younger market than Screamin' Wheels, which is why I prefer the latter!  :daumenhoch:

Sorry mate, we set off in good time but my front tyre had 3 punctures in the first 30 mins so we had to turn back  :(
thought it was one of the spoke nipples but turned out to be a fine metal splinter embedded in the rim tape  >:(

What a pain in the ar#e!! :2gunsfiring_v1: You probably therefore don't want to know that it was a good turnout, with some tasty bikes on display!! Rest assured, I took a (photo)bucket-full of pics which I shall get up on here asap. :daumenhoch:

When are you heading back to :Great_Britain:?

Yeah I brought 4 inner tubes, a long post, padded pivotal, grips and a chain with me as the bike had been stood for a while. We gave it a good overhaul the night before and it seemed fine. I guess my extra 8 stone  ;) was just enough for the splinter to pierce the tube.
Looking forward to your pics, I fly back 26th
