:welcome to RAD, i have absolutely no idea what that is, sorry. At first i thought it looked like a Raleigh shopper that's been cut and welded to something else :-\ never seen anything like it
-
The way the seat tube curves into the downtube is something I haven't seen before. Interesting. Is that a European bottom bracket?
-
I'd say it looks like it should/would've come with a banana seat type set up as well by the look of those rear dropouts
-
Never seen a frame like that before, I think it looks pretty cool though maybe wort doing a cheap tart up on it possibly and keeping it as it was your late uncles ? :welcome btw.

Welcome to :radbmxsmilie: mate.
That is a very unusual looking frame and unlike anything I have ever seen before either. Looks like it was definitely a freestyler.... It doesn't look like it is fantastic quality but I think you should restore it just because of it's rarity! It is kinda weird but kinda cool, Could make a very interesting build. Is that a union jack on the headtube? could be a clue....
Damo :daumenhoch:

thanks for all the help guys the forks, hangles & seat where bits he added, he had the frame striped and resprayed white so the union jack are aftermarket, i'll get some more pic over the week & try find a S/N
-
maybe it's a homebrew special? was your uncle handy with a welder? would make sense why no one recognises it! :daumenhoch:

the family remembers he ether swapped it for something or got it from the tip but remember it was just the frame & he had it striped & resprayed, I'll prob land resorting it even if it worth nout anyway ;)

....just get wild tall bars and a banana, could become a cool commuter :daumenhoch:

Restore it anyway dude, it is worth it for the memories if nothing else. It could be a really nice build with a repowder and some nicer parts without having to cost a fortune. Get a site supporters tag and take advantage of the for sale section in here. I can see it with some tuffs, some nicer bars, a nicer seat.....be sure to post the results if you do I would love to see it :daumenhoch:

found a photo of when i was given it all fresh in 1988ish
(http://i881.photobucket.com/albums/ac12/Pvtspoon/Picture%20or%20Video%20003_zps12ye9bqq.jpg)
so ive spent this evening looking for a S/n or any thing to help id it & found nothing but found a sticker under the white paint on the downtube (sorry if i got the name wrong) hoping these might help id it i use sime light thinner to get the white paint off

And this sticker on the tube from the seat

No, still no clue! What does that sticker say? motocross? what does it say under the thinners also...hard to see from pic. It looks like it may have been a seventies frame which may have had a motocross theme.....may have had mudguards etc, which has been built with later bmx parts
Either way I like it...deserves a restoration of some sort...try and get it back to how it was....or completely remodel it!

Could be a starting point?

Well done dude, that was exactly the sort of thing I had in mind :daumenhoch:

It's deffo European, probably French as bi-cross is a French abbreviation of bicycle motocross. There are quite a few companies it could be but it's deffo chopper to bmx crossover period bike. Try looking at mbk/motobecane, Peugeot and kalkoff on the off chance it's not French

I had similar frame like this when I was as kid which is part of "Bonanza Rad". It was very popular in Germany back in the 70's.
