Hi guys - what is the difference between a mongoose cali and an M1. It looks pretty identical to me (looptail/proclass wheels etc.) Even the stickers are the same apart from the one below the seatpost saying M1 rather than expert/cali etc.
What date are they? etc etc.

the m1 is later. i think about 88 apart from that not a big lot the m1 might even be full cromo

the 85 and onwards calis were chromo too
i think the M1 is the same frame exactly

I have a 84 cali on ebay at the moment that is full chromoly,I have a 83 that the main frame is only chromo tho!! :D :uglystupid2:
Did they make 2 of these the same,its all i read on this site!!

the 84 will be cromoly front triangle only (trimoly in mongoose speak) and the later is full cromoly cromo is cromoly

yes the later is full the 83 will only be maintubes there should be a sticker on the toptube near the headstock
