Some guy's done a copper Torker.

The DP GL+'s were originally nickel gold, when I got mine in 2008, I looked at getting it redone as it had been painted yellow. I used to work for a PCB manufacturer where the gold plated circuit board edge connectors were plated in nickel then gold, so knowing that they already had a nickel bath, I asked the Process Engineer there if he'd do my frame and forks, I also asked him if he could set up one of his spare baths and I'd get the bronze slugs full the backets and plate over the nickel. The slugs needed to get the right amount of microns to get a decent finish would have cost £600.

So I powdered it white.
