Erm, I would think you would be ;D
-
"Hurry, last chance to grab it before I put it on Ebay"
Well, if I haven't bought it already through Facebook or the Forums, then I won't be buying it on Ebay, eh :D

"I don't know much about bikes but I have these forks"... Sale price £1000
-
That sounds really familiar!! Is that a current one as I'm sure I've read that or something v. similar in the last week?! ;D
-
My dyno went on ebay as a complete last week but never reached its reserve (that I thought was pretty low)
Someone sent me a message at the beginning of the sale asking if I'd accept a certain price to which I replied that I'd wait it out thanks.
As soon as the listing ended with no sale he messaged me again.
"How did the auction go?"
;D ;D ;D - twat.
-
For Sale.
-
N0 tyre kickers please :D

Rare barn find for sale? :2funny:

I did like this on the Cook's Cruiser frame that allegedly sold on Ebay.com the other day for a massive $5,600.00
“I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT BIKES. THIS IS FROM A FORMER BIKE COLLECTOR.”
But manages to list it correctly ;D
Vintage Old School BMX Cook Bros Racing Original Frame.
-
^^^ same guy that didn't know anything about but sold the Cook Bros Uni clamp and fork for $1500 ;D

His knowledge is still very limited ;D

'Mat HoffmanS ACTUAL BIKE'

'Landing Gear' fork......
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SE-RACING-LANDING-GEAR-RED-BMX-BIKE-FORKS-MID-OLD-SCHOOL-HUTCH-PK-RIPPER-GT-/400940563980?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d59eb7e0c
Someone sends the guy a question >>
Q: Those aren't landing gear forks. I could be wrong but I think they are from the company called Standard. Somebody has just put some landing gear stickers on them.
Sellers reply >> A: THANKS for sharing the excellent info! Dan
But he still never updated his auction listing :D ;D
-
'All original' in the description - dripping with parts not even worthy if the Landar label. ???
I sent a seller on eBay once a message telling him that his listing description was inaccurate. He was selling a '1986' Dyno Compe, I told him that his bike was actually a 1998. He sent a snotty message back asking me how come I was such an expert? I replied telling him that I was no expert, but as I'd built the bike, knew its history, his tune soon changed. :bellend:
-
"Impossible to find in this condition........"
But you are selling one in that condition and I just found your advert

"it's what it owes me!" ::)
-
Yeah that's a cracker ;D
-
"it's what it owes me!" ::)
Plus my profit, postage materials that I got free, bus fare to the PO whilst on my way to work, wear and tear to the soles of my shoes. Oh, and the electric and water I used getting ready for taking your package to the PO :D

Exactly Terry! What if you bought it nos, what if you paid too much cos you're a noob or an idiot, what of you smoke like a chimney and now the pads/grips/tyres etc stink, what if the prices of that particular part or in general have dropped since you bought it. What if you paid way over the odds to have it polished or rechromed, what if Bob haro has defaced it somewhere :LolLolLolLol:
