Can you pay on the door for this?
I usually go on a bender by mid afternoon on a Saturday. But if I don't there's a (small) chance I might turn up and try this.
-
Steve it's a pay on the door kinda thing and perfect for a first time as the park has every level of ramp from gentle to terrifying mate :daumenhoch:
See you later suspects :coolsmiley:
-
Get ya sen down Peanut... ride first... booze after..

Im sat having a dump at work wishing i was driving up to Leeds. Have a good evenings riding lads, see you next time. :(
-
After years of riding tracks, this was my first ever go on a skatepark, what a buzz. I had a nightmare with my pair of primo v monsters which were rock hard and caused me to slide like crazy, luckily I got away with only one crash.
Big thanks to Len for lending me a wheel and tyre so I could at least get some front grip, and also big thanks to Spen for teaching me the basics of riding in a skate park.
I can't wait to get my tyres sorted and have another go.
-
You're welcome Steve, it's always worth helping anyone brave enough to venture into a disused warehouse in a dodgy part of town with a bunch of middle - aged weirdos :2funny: :coolsmiley:
Was a cracking night and the last 20mins with Ed determined to jump the 5' high step - up was the funniest thing one of the usual suspects has done in a long time ;D
Well done Ed, I will try and battle the technology tomorrow and get the video up of you bailing it then nailing it :4_17_5:
Worthy of a mention was suspect Graham nailing the spine end of the jump - box within about 5mins of arriving and the mental airs from suspects Jol, Sibs and Sam.
Riding through the pain we had Mike aka Will (that joke is still not getting tired!) With his elbow and old stinky Jim With his thumbs that don't work :4_17_5:
I fooking love this silly hobby
-
I still waved will havef with a cheery BYE MIKE
then remembered he's called Will
:2funny:
-
names never were your strong point Ed ;D Dave ;D
-
great session, loved the big ramp room, great to see everyone on it again.
I was impresses with Ed's peg grinds  and every one involve in crazy jump box action :crazy2:, im deffo gunna have it next time :-\, added bonus its only 25 minutes from my house :daumenhoch:
-
names never were your strong point Ed ;D Dave ;D
you're not wrong Claude :daumenhoch:
-
Wasn't Claude the orangutan in that Eastwood movie about him prizefighting? Just saying like :2funny:
Oh, it was Clyde...... never mind :uglystupid2:
Still a funny night as always with the usual suspects - see you all in a month or so after my hols :daumenhoch:

I went to my local cycle shop in Leeds today to get a chain, 2 mins later Ian who ran the session walked and says "are you here for some better tyres?" :)
