What year did they start making DK Inverted Stems?
-
1" quill or 1 1/8"?
The 1" ones were real late 70's I think?
1 1/8" 'Jumping Stems' which can be flipped were 1998.

Inverted ones were early to mid 80s, I remember seeing a timeline somewhere, will see if I can find it.
-
yeah that look smore like an 80s one ... the design stayed the same but got a bit chunkier early 90s ... around the time that they made the WAL ones :daumenhoch:
-
Looks like a mid 80's one as the early ones had squared off edges instead of smooth rounded off near the stem bolt.
-
Late 80's that one, introduced as part of the XL range plus it doesn't have the pin fixing the base to the quill which I think they dropped about 85/86.
-
I thought the curved edge top was late 80's early 90's and curved top and bottom was about 93.

Thanks everyone
mid 80's a bit late to go on my 82 flyer then, might have to do until something else pops up :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
