Title: What can i do to my BMX bike to make it look different/cooler?
Post by: AussieBMXER on June 30, 2015, 03:00 PM: Okay i have a wethepeople volta 2010 and its basicly all black apart from the hubs and headset and some stickers. im getting kind of bored of the color i was wondering what parts would look good on there (i want some new parts anyway because my bike is about 3 years old now) my budget would be about 500. any answers would be great! thanks! been done already

Lenny had/has the fur wrap - it's awesome
Also on his stag night there were antlers, but made of foil and attached to a helmet

Looks quite cool to me. It all depends on what you're into. You could go mad, strip it and get it sprayed / power coated a different colour or just change the tyres, grips & pedals as a start.

Seriously tho .. if you ever look at this page again ... as you have only ever posted one thing ... don't worry about what it looks like. Save that for when you are old and don't ride anymore as it will be the only thing that matters. While you are young just ride the arse out of that bike ... break it if possible as that means you are really pushing your riding ... basically the less time you spend worrying about how your bike looks and the more time you spend riding the better. Do you want to be known as 'that really rad kid' or 'that kid on the rad bike'
