Title: Newbie, from berkshire. hello!
Post by: tothefacie on July 07, 2015, 05:58 PM
Hi guys,

I used to be active on bmx forum a few years ago, which I see is practically a ghost town now.

Not gonna lie, primary motivation is to find a good home for some old decent bike parts of mine. I got newish school set up that I like, but I hate the idea of throwing stuff away. Would happily give it away to kids down the skatepark, but some of the bits are a bit too old school (heavy) for their liking.

not too fussed about money, just would be happy for the parts to get used and enjoyed by someone. Will post in the appropriate forum soon, but main things;

Gsport homer with odyssey 13t freewheel laced to 48h primo balance. nice and true and strong. great wheel. just not that into pegs myself nowadays.

primo balance rim.

huge assortment of pedals, left ones a bit worn. if any righties needs some right hand pedals,  I'm your man!

Otherwise, would be nice to get back into the forum thing so I'll be browsing the forums. Weather is good so am tempted to get back on the bike and hit the track!

Seek advice before selling anything, as some of this old BMX tat has serious value, I'd hate to think you gifted stuff away with kindness and some Fokker flips it for a fast profit

Yeh, I have taken bike parts back off kids down the skatepark when I've seen them doing that shit. All the same, with the exception  the Gsport, I don't think I have anything really valuable. Besides, much rather it gets used than just collects dust in my box of bike bits.

Yeh I rode all around a few years ago; mainly windsor, maidenhead and cavy, but would trip out to farnborough or bstoke about once a week. Tuesday bay sessions were a regular as well.
