Recently I've been looking longingly at various looptailed frames and then it occurred to me why. With the possible exception of my first ever BMX, an unidentified (flying) Cycle Pro, all my bikes have been non-looptails. So whilst I continue pondering what looptailed frame to set my sights on, I was wondering what looptails everyone else likes! :D

'70's LRV/Matthews. The only loopy I own at the mo....

Interesting one this, the Piranha Freestyler is the only twin top tube freestyler, that I can think of (someone will correct me - Prolite CC possibly?). But the each tube runs from the head tube, all the way to the BB.

My favourite is my 1976 R&R CR-1 like Dans Piranha it has twin top tubes that are actually one long tube that is bent from its top tube, into its looptail, back to the bottom bracket and all the way up the other side. Amazing workmanship.

The ones I remember well from bitd were Mongoose, Diamond Back, Hutch, Robinson and MRD. I would love an MRD but must admit to fancying something Koizumi-made given my current abode. :daumenhoch:

This one is in hibernation at the moment but it would be nice if I could afford it is to build it up with the parts it deserves.
