The same argument's happening in snowboarding (my other passion) where some of the crazy tricks now being landed simply defies belief, if not gravity! Whilst you can't knock the athleticism and sheer balls of the riders (and that quad flip is bloody amazing), as the guy in that Brian Foster vid said, style will never go out of style. That's why riders like Foster and Nicolas Muller (Swiss snowboarding legend) will always have a following and perhaps be better remembered than the guy who did such and such a trick.
