Been trying to find one for 9 months now as it suits the style of build for my 83 Skyway TA. One came up in the states for $475 plus shipping and import tax. Too Rich for a rider, whether its OG or not.
Anyway found one in Australia (keen arent we!)
As much as i like the raw look of this seat the rest of the bike is going to be minty fresh (or at least it will be before it hits the dirt and jumps !)
I have some NOS blue and white checked lever covers and the same jumbo donuts again nos sooooooo
Do i restore and if so any advice that be given, both standard seat restoration and of course checkered paint !!

There is a guy on Facebook on the a Facebook group page who is doing some really good seat restos using the same plastic paints used on car bumpers.
Looks like that seat would be a good challenge for him !

Leave as is, you want it for a rider then thats perfect rider condition, if you restore you will become too precious about it then you wont ride it and enjoy it for what it really is, a plastic BMX seat to be sat on and ridden
